MidNet Has Accomplished A Major Milestone In Its Integration Of Device Recognition For Video Telephony And Internet Related Services

Sales Launch Of Device Recognition Services Over The Middle Network™

RENO, Nev., Oct. 19 - MidNet, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MIDX - News) will use its device recognition capabilities to protect users of video telephony and Internet related services.

MidNet has accomplished a major milestone in its integration of device recognition over the Middle Network™ and is now launching its long awaited device fingerprinting services. Since the Company’s first trials in July of 2005, developments have continued to the point where we are now able to bring secure video telephony services to market and generate sales.

Device fingerprinting, a patented technology licensed to MidNet by Uniloc USA, and first announced by the Companies on May 2, 2005, is a revolutionary technology that scans for unique, naturally occurring characteristics inherent in each device connected to The Middle Network. These characteristics are actually imperfections introduced during the manufacturing process. The resulting ‘device fingerprint’ allows MidNet to identify devices with a greater accuracy than what is even possible with human DNA, and this fingerprint can then be used to ensure that the device you are communicating with can in fact be trusted. With this system even novice users will be able to easily and safely access content and video telephony services over the Internet, at affordable prices comparable to existing communication services.

Video telephony encompasses all of the services delivered over the Internet, including the most demanding multimedia applications popular for business, education and entertainment; videoconferencing, video streaming, video on demand, voice over IP, email, and chat. The Internet is transforming into a video telephony platform, and web sites are rapidly evolving into video telephony portals. Sites such as Google, youTube, and mySpace have recently demonstrated how valuable video telephony is becoming.

MidNet will begin the process of enabling end users and web site operators with device recognition by offering custom integration services. In addition to custom integrations for unique sites, MidNet will integrate The Middle Network’s capabilities into networked hardware devices such as personal computers, videophones, voice over IP phones, gaming consoles, set top boxes for video streaming and video on demand, communication servers, and web site authoring packages.

Video telephony is a rapidly evolving segment of the communication industry, with the Internet’s billion plus users purchasing new products and upgrading older products to make the most of these new services. MidNet is positioned to be the security solution for video telephony.
